How Instrument Rental Works

1. Choose Your School
Start the online rental process and select your student's school when prompted. This helps NEMC identify teacher-recommended instruments, accessories, and delivery options. If you are a homeschooler, no worries! Skip this step and you can still rent the instrument!

2. Choose Your Instrument
Select the instrument your student needs for band, orchestra, or lessons.

3. Complete Your Rental Online
Choose your rental options and complete the rental agreement securely through NEMC.

4. Start Making Music!
Once your student has their instrument, they're ready for lessons, rehearsals, practice, and performances.

Already Taking Lessons at FunTimes?

Having the right instrument is only the beginning. Our instructors can help students develop proper technique, build confidence, learn to read music, and make steady progress on their instrument.

If your child is joining band or orchestra for the first time, private lessons can give them additional one-on-one support alongside their school music program.

Do I have to be a FunTimes Music School student to rent an instrument?

No. Families can use our NEMC rental partnership whether or not they currently take private lessons at FunTimes Music School.

Are the instruments new?

Rental instruments may be new or like-new. NEMC professionally refurbishes, cleans, and sanitizes rental instruments before they are provided to students.

Can I eventually purchase the instrument?

Yes. Monthly rental payments build equity toward purchasing the instrument through the EasyRent program.

What happens if my child changes instruments?

The EasyRent program provides flexibility to exchange or upgrade instruments as your student's needs change.

Is instrument protection available?

Yes. Optional instrument protection is available during the rental process.
